All creatures within a 2m wide, 20m long Line must make a

Basic
Dexterity saving throw, or take 3d6 Holy damage. On a critical failure, they're also
Blinded
until the end of their next turn.

The number of actions you spend when casting this spell determines the area and bonus damage:

1 action. The Line is 20m long.
1 action, 1 bonus action, and your movement. The Line is 40m long. You deal an extra 1d6 Holy damage.
2 actions. The Line is 40m long. You deal an extra 3d6 Holy damage, and enter a Shining state for 1 minute. While in this state, when a creature attacks you with a melee attack, they take 1d4 Holy damage.


At Higher Levels. The Holy damage increases by 1d6 for each spell level increase. If you used 2 actions, it instead increases by 2d6, and the damage from your Shining state increases by 1d4.
